WHO IS THIS SERVICE FOR?

Do you want the JSI touch in your home, but have a smaller project to tackle? Our Designer for a Day might be the perfect fit for you!

  • You have a renovation coming up, and your contractor advises you to select all finishes. You don’t know how to pull it all together so that it makes sense, looks good, and works in your space

  • You need an expert to go shopping with in order to focus on the right colors, pattern, sizes, shapes, and style

  • You need help picking out a new color story for your room(s)

  • You are looking to sell your home, but want to first refresh the paint and decor for more potential buyers

  • You want to meet at your local Kitchen & Bath store to select and pull together kitchen counter, backsplash, and cabinet type and color elements.

  • You need help rearranging your furniture layout and placement of art and décor

  • You are purchasing furniture for your home and just need a second opinion to make sure that you are on the right track

  • You are doing a remodeling project and need us to take a look at the plans from your architect to make sure the space is being used well

  • You need advice on window treatments, including draperies, shades, blinds or shutters.


WHAT IS INCLUDED?

After you complete a 15-min Discovery Call to assess your needs and complete our Design Questionnaire, we’ll schedule your Designer For A Day service. We’ll spend one day (6-hours) in-person or virtually consulting with you on your project. This time might be broken into two days in certain circumstances.

What your day may include based on your project needs:

  • Shared Inspiration/ Pinterest Boards

  • Measurements on site

  • Floor plan sketches

  • Rough sketches of your space

  • Paint/ Material Selections

  • Arranging Furniture Layouts

  • Accessory styling

  • Shopping together

  • Design Resource Center trip to pick out furniture and upholstery

  • Trips to local vendor stores to source tile, carpet, etc


DESIGNER FOR A DAY PRICING: $1200

POTENTIAL ADD-ON SERVICES FOR ADDITIONAL FEES:

  • Additional design time to provide further guidance at our standard hourly rate

  • Window Treatment Fabrication and Installation

  • 3D Renderings as requested

  • Access to our trade-only vendors for furnishings, accessories, artwork, lighting, fabric and wallpaper
